Hello all and welcome to my intern blog! I am currently interning at Office of Physical Plant (OPP). I am working with the Take Charge! program for energy conservation in the dorms.
Energy conservation is a very important subject to me. It has to do with sustainability, which is a current hot topic, but is one that should be a concern for all. With wasteful habits common among the population we are endangering our resources for our future and future generations.
So, in this blog I will write about my experiences as an intern. Things I have learned, helpful tips, interesting articles I come across etc. I hope this blog will be helpful for you, the reader, to become more conscience of your energy use or maybe some of my tips can make conserving easier for you.

hey – thanks for the link! I’ll add a link to your site from my blog. Also – thanks for the tip on defrosters – I didn’t know that. In fact I was using the defroster this morning – now I know to wait a minute or so before turning it on.
